Miele Washer F63 Error
Miele Washer F63 Error indicates a problem with the water path system.
- Symptom: The Water Intake LED flashes. The water intake valves are closed, and the program is interrupted. The Drain Pump is running for 120 seconds.
- Possible causes: Faulty Water Path Control System. The Control Power Module cannot register a valid position from the Water Path Control Unit within about 80 seconds of it being switched on.
- The Water Path Control System uses a single water valve that opens during cold water needs. The incoming cold water is routed to the Dispenser Assembly, where a distributor tube (driven by a geared synchronous motor) sends the water to the appropriate path. The position of the distributor tube is monitored by the electronics via several contacts within the Water Path Control System Unit. If the Control Module does not detect a valid position approximately 80 seconds after the water path system is switched on, it displays the F63 error.
- Solution: Check the Water Path Control Unit. If it malfunctions, replace the water path assembly.
