The Miele Dryer F2 error indicates a problem with the temperature sensor on the heater bank, which affects the dryer’s heating ability. When this error occurs, the “Rotary Iron” LED will flash, and the dryer will stop heating, allowing only the “Air Dry” function to operate. To diagnose and resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

Symptom: “Rotary Iron” LED flashes. Program stops, buzzer starts intermittently for 2 minutes and the dryer stops heating. Only  “Air Dry” will work.

Possible causes: 

1. Open circuit in heater bank temperature sensor (2R30)
2. Heater bank (R1, R2) is not heating.
3. Faulty the Heater Relay.
4. Temperature Limiter (F2)

1. Verify that the heater bank temperature sensor (2R30) does not have an open circuit.
2. Inspect the heater bank (R1, R2) for any shorts or open circuits.
