Kitchenaid Built-In SxS Refrigerator Is Too Warm In The Refrigeration Compartment
If your KitchenAid Built-in SxS Refrigerator is too warm in the refrigeration compartment, it may be due to insufficient air circulation in the upper shelf area, particularly on the top right side. This area depends on cool air from the vents to maintain the proper temperature. If the vents are blocked, if food items are placed too close to the airflow paths, or if the fan is malfunctioning, cool air may not be distributed evenly.

Problem: Too warm in the refrigerator or too warm in the top shelf area of the refrigerator compartment.
Possible Cause: Not enough air is directed to the top right side of the upper shelf area on some refrigerators.
Recommended Solution: The air diverter has been redesigned to direct more air to the top shelf area. Remove the cover and compare the air diverter to the old and new diverters pictured. Replace the old diverter with a new diverter #2309222.
