Frigidaire Range F30 Error
⚠ Electric Shock Hazard ⚠
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so may result in electric shock, serious injury, or death. Always ensure the appliance is unplugged or the circuit breaker is turned off before performing any repairs or maintenance. Do not attempt repairs unless properly trained.
The Frigidaire Range F30 error signals an issue with the open oven temperature sensor circuit. This circuit consists of the sensor probe, safety thermostat, and connecting wires. If any of these components fail, the oven cannot regulate temperature, triggering the F30 error.
To diagnose the issue, measure the sensor probe’s resistance, which should be approximately 1100 ohms at room temperature. A significantly higher or lower reading indicates a faulty probe. If the sensor probe checks out, test the safety thermostat for continuity. If both components are functional, the issue may lie in the Electronic Oven Control (EOC) module or wiring connections.
