Monogram Ice Maker Fill Tube Frozen
Monogram Ice Maker Fill Tube Frozen
Monogram refrigerator will stop producing ice if the ice maker fill tube freezes up. Ice built up inside the ice maker fill tube restricts the water flow into the ice maker, and the ice maker stops producing ice.
Solution: In most cases fill tube freezes up due to a faulty water inlet valve. Replacing the water inlet valve will solve the problem. Make sure to turn off the water supply to the refrigerator before replacing the valve. Some Monogram refrigerators have a fill tube heater installed that keeps the fill tube warm and prevents ice build-up. Check the fill tube heater for continuity and, if necessary, replace it.
Replace the water filter regularly: Make sure to replace the water filter every six months. The old water filters will restrict the water flow, decrease the water pressure, and cause ice production problems.
